Ghana midfielder, Forson Amankwah, has secured a spot in the SkyBet EFL Championship Team of the Week following a standout performance in their recent win over the weekend.

Coming off the bench in the dying moments of the game, the 22-year-old turned the tide for Norwich City by netting two crucial goals in the 91st and 95th minutes, leading his team to a 2-1 triumph over Coventry City.

This remarkable feat is even more noteworthy as Forson had not seen action in seven consecutive games prior to this match, showcasing his resilience and determination.

His inclusion in the Team of the Week highlights his impact on the pitch, alongside teammate Kenny McLean, who also earned recognition for his efforts.

After the match, the midfielder reflected on his challenging journey, stating that he is gradually regaining his confidence.

So far this season, Forson has recorded two goals and two assists in 17 appearances for Norwich.

As anticipation builds, he is expected to play a big role in their upcoming FA Cup Third Round clash against Brighton and Hove Albion on January 11.
