Former Liverpool and Real Madrid star Steve McManaman has taken notice of the consistent rise in the performance of Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo and commended the Bournemouth star for it.

Semenyo’s stock has taken a significant upward curve in the 2024/2025 season with seven goals and four assists so far.

While the numbers are appreciable, his overall performance in games has been incredible for Bournemouth, who are hoping to pick one of the European spots available to Premier League clubs.

Speaking during the Premier League’s production of Bournemouth’s 4-1 thumping of Newcastle, Steve McManaman commended Semenyo for the upturn in his performance.

“Semenyo is an excellent player. He scores goals, creates chances, and also provides assists. He has developed and become a very good player for Bournemouth,” he said.

In the game against Newcastle, Semenyo grabbed an assist after setting up the first of Justin Kluivert’s three goals.
