A former nun, now influencer, has tied the knot with a Catholic priest after the pair fell in love during prayer sessions.

According to reports, Lais Dognini, who left the convent and later became a social media influencer, met Father Jackson Dognini when he offered to pray for her as she battled depression.

Their friendship soon blossomed into romance, and the couple reportedly married in secret in March, marking a dramatic twist in their spiritual journey.

Lais had spent two years in a Carmelite convent, while Jackson was studying for the priesthood at the time of their first contact.

Their connection began innocently, with Jackson reaching out to offer spiritual support through a simple message: “I’m praying for you.”

Over the next six years, the two have maintained a close friendship built on shared faith, emotional support, and personal growth.

However, both chose to leave religious life. Lais stepped away from the convent, and Jackson left the seminary after five years of formation.

The couple began dating in April 2024, got engaged in October, and exchanged vows privately in March 2025.

The wedding remained under wraps until recently, when the pair chose to share their story publicly.

Despite stepping away from formal religious roles, the Dogninis say their commitment to faith has not wavered.

Instead, they view their union as a continuation of their spiritual path, one now grounded in marriage rather than religious vocation.
