‎Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central consistency Joana Gyan-Cudjoe has issued a heartfelt call for unity and reconciliation among her constituents in Ohianhyeda and Congo, urging them to put aside post-election misunderstandings and collectively focus on development.

    ‎

‎Speaking during the second phase of her ‘thank you tour’ in the constituency, Hon Joana Gyan-Cudjoe emphasized the transient nature of political contests and the enduring bond of community. She acknowledged that the recent 2024 general election might have caused some divisions and friction among friends and families.

    ‎

‎”Let us forgive ourselves if there was any misunderstanding during the 2024 election because of me or our Supreme Leader President John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana or any other person between you and your friends,” Joana Gyan-Cudjoe appealed to the gathered crowds. She stressed the importance of moving past political differences for the greater good of the community.

    ‎

‎With the National Democratic Congress (NDC) now in power, she highlighted that the immediate priority must shift from political rivalry to tangible progress. “Let us all come together and work as one family since the NDC is in power; what we need now is development,” she declared, outlining her vision for a collaborative approach to addressing the needs of her people.

    ‎

‎The MP reiterated the futility of election disputes, telling her constituents, “There’s no need to argue or fight with a friend because the election is over, and what we need or pray for is development and nothing else.”

    ‎

‎Her message resonates with aspirations for peace and collective advancement, setting a tone for inclusive governance and community-driven progress in the newly represented areas of Ohianhyeda and Congo. Joana Gyan-Cudjoe’s appeal underscores the importance of communal harmony and a shared vision for progress, signaling a commitment to inclusive governance and tangible development in her constituency following the electoral process.
