    controversial figure in the media Following his recent court appearance, Blakk Rasta provided an update on the health of Swedru-based businessman Abu Trica. Following their arrest for allegedly scamming US residents, the arrested businessman and his associates appeared before the Gbese District Court on December 23. Before Abu Trica’s next court appearance, Blakk Rasta posted information about his purported illness and the results of his medical appointment in a video. Blakk Rasta, a Ghanaian singer and media figure, has provided an update on the health of businessman Abu Trica, who is now in custody.

    On Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Ghana, a combined team of Ghanaian security officers and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) detained the Swedru-based businessman, whose true name is Frederick Kumi. Abu Trica could spend up to 20 years in jail for conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering, and a forfeiture provision, according to an unsealed US Justice Department indictment.
