Before Abu Trica’s next court appearance, Blakk Rasta posted information about his purported illness and the results of his medical appointment in a video. Blakk Rasta, a Ghanaian singer and media figure, has provided an update on the health of businessman Abu Trica, who is now in custody.
On Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Ghana, a combined team of Ghanaian security officers and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) detained the Swedru-based businessman, whose true name is Frederick Kumi. Abu Trica could spend up to 20 years in jail for conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering, and a forfeiture provision, according to an unsealed US Justice Department indictment.
