A first-year nursing student accidentally wore her stethoscope incorrectly during a training session, sparking amusement among her classmates.

A group of female nursing students was shown in a video shared by @jameskumbeni practicing taking vital signs in front of the class under the supervision of an instructor.

During the instructor’s demonstration of the proper use of a stethoscope, the training session took a humorous turn when one student decided to wear the stethoscope like a necklace. She awkwardly draped it around her shoulder before inserting it into her ear backward.

The student’s mishandling of the stethoscope immediately made her classmates and their female instructor laugh aloud before she realized her error and joined in.

Before correcting and continuing with the training activity, the female instructor requested a moment of silence.

The video has sparked amusing remarks, with Internet users urging that the first-year student choose a career as a DJ instead of nursing because of how she wears the stethoscope.

Viewers acknowledged the student’s error as a first-year nursing student attempting to learn the peculiarities of nursing as a profession. Many claim that the student could eventually become an expert in the nursing field.
