    First ever environmental, social, governance and sustainability summit to take place in Accra

    First ever environmental, social, governance and sustainability summit to take place in Accra

    Stakeholders in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainability sectors from around the world will converge in Accra for the first-ever international ESG and Sustainability Reporting Summit, scheduled to take place from August 27 to 29, 2025.

    This three-day summit, organized will feature renowned speakers and draw participants from a wide range of sectors.

    Attendees will include policymakers and government officials, ESG and sustainability professionals, researchers and academics, NGOs and civil society organizations, international organizations and development agencies, corporate social responsibility experts, environmental and social impact assessment professionals, and other key stakeholders interested in sustainable development and ESG reporting across Africa and beyond.

    The theme of the Summit, “Sustainable Growth: ESG Reporting, EU Taxonomy, and Strategic Pathways for Developing Economies,” will be explored through 15 thematic tracks, including:

    1. Sustainable Growth Strategies for Developing Economies

    2. Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability

    3. Green Finance and Energy Transition

    4. Policy and Regulation for Sustainable Growth

    5. Innovation and Technology for Sustainable Growth

    6. ESG Reporting Frameworks and Standards

    7. EU Taxonomy and Sustainable Finance

    8. Governance and Risk Management

    The summit will also provide valuable insights into current policy developments and regulatory requirements, explore emerging trends and innovations in sustainability, address common challenges in adopting ESG frameworks and the EU Taxonomy, and introduce advanced tools and technologies to support ESG reporting and sustainable practices.

    Participants will gain access to cutting-edge strategies and best practices that can help overcome challenges in ESG and sustainability, enabling them to achieve sustainable growth and high returns in their respective economies.
