The University of Ghana Corporate Football League continued with Week Two action on Friday, February 28, as Group B teams battled for supremacy at the UG Stadium.

The matchday produced unexpected results, intense competition, and standout performances, leaving fans eager for the upcoming fixtures.

The week two results were as follows: Media General 1-1 Forestry Commission, Bui Power Authority 0-2 Lancaster Accra, National Petroleum Authority 0-1 Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, and Central Administration 1-1 Zenith Bank.

The highly anticipated clash between Media General and the Forestry Commission ended in a 1-1 draw. Media General dominated possession early on, forcing the Forestry Commission into an own goal. However, the Forestry Commission fought back with a stunning equaliser, ensuring both sides shared the points in an action-packed contest.

Lancaster Accra made a strong statement with a convincing 2-0 victory over Bui Power Authority. Their well-coordinated attack and dominant play earned them three points, making them the standout team in Group B so far.

In another closely contested encounter, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority edged out the National Petroleum Authority 1-0. A resilient defensive display and a well-timed goal sealed a crucial win, while NPA struggled to convert their chances.

The match between Central Administration and Zenith Bank ended in a 1-1 draw, characterised by tactical play and midfield battles. Both teams created goal-scoring opportunities but failed to secure a decisive win.

With Group B remaining highly competitive, Lancaster Accra emerges as the team to beat following their dominant display. Media General and Forestry Commission showcased their attacking prowess, while the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority proved defensively solid in their narrow victory.

As the UG Corporate Football League progresses, expectations remain high for Week Three, with teams looking to build on their performances and fight for supremacy in the tournament.
