A female prison officer has been suspended over claims she had an inappropriate relationship with an inmate.
Katerina Tatus was reportedly ‘marched to the gates’ of the jail by security and is now being investigated by the police.
The officer, who is thought to have worked for the prison service for three years, was allegedly suspended after a staff tip-off.
Feltham includes a young offenders’ institution for boys aged 15 to 18. The claims do not relate to this section of the jail, it is understood.
It comes amid growing concern among illicit relationships between jail staff and inmates, with former Wandsworth prison officer, Linda de Sousa Abreu jailed for 15 months in January after being filmed having sex in a cell with a serial burglar.

Tatus had a Facebook page where she shared photos of herself enjoying sun-soaked holidays overseas
The investigation into Tatus was led by The Sun, which reported a source as saying: ‘Katerina was stopped and marched to the gates by security.
‘She has been accused of having an affair and being too close to a prisoner.
‘It is unclear if it was a Feltham inmate or if something happened with someone at another jail.’
Tatus had a Facebook page where she shared photos of herself enjoying sun-soaked holidays overseas.
Approached about her case, she reportedly said: ‘I didn’t do anything, I don’t know what you’re talking about.’
Feltham A, which houses the young offenders’ institution, is known as one of the most violent prisons in the country, with a recent inspection describing a volatile environment where children play ‘the big man’ and have to be kept apart.
A Prison Service spokesman said: ‘It would be inappropriate to comment on a live Police investigation.’

The latest prison officer to be convicted for an illicit relationship with an inmate was mother-of-one Katie Evans, 26, who was jailed earlier this month.
She began a sexual liaison with convicted robber Daniel Brownley while working at HMP Doncaster.
She boasted to another prison officer of performing oral sex on the criminal and collecting drugs cash on his behalf over a six-month period in 2020.
