Chidinma Adetshina, Miss Nigerian at the Miss Universe 2024 beauty pageant was overwhelmed with affection as other contestants rushed to embrace her after her impressive 1st runner-up win.

The celebratory video captured the other contestants rushing to embrace Chidinma leaving Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, who was crowned Miss Universe 2024.

Viewers speculated that the other contestants’ expressions portrayed that Chidinma was the real winner of the beauty pageant, hence they rushed to embrace her.

Some netizens claim that before other contestants can congratulate or embrace the winner of a beauty pageant, she must go for a stroll right away after being crowned.

    Below are some reactions,

@Ziggy🖤 The way they all went to hug Chichi afterwards was so beautiful 🥺

@Yaya This is really beautiful to watch, everyone knew the real winner was Chichi. All love from 🇿🇦

@diplomaticomooreofe Omo. So many ignorant comments here. The winner was supposed to take a walk immediately after the crowning before they can hug her. That’s how pageant works😮😮😮

@legalislander People don’t actually realize that coming 2nd on a world stage competition like miss universe is as good as winning the crown ,out of 125 girls you came 2nd ,that’s a big deal.

@bochins_gadgets They called the winner but Na Chidimma them dey hug 😂😂😂
