Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan has reportedly fallen victim to a burglary after returning to Bergamo following international duty with the Black Stars.
According to reports, the striker discovered his accommodation had been ransacked after arriving back from Ghana’s international assignment against Mexico. Several valuable items were allegedly stolen during the break-in.
Among the missing belongings were watches, jewellery, bags, shoes, and other personal effects belonging to the player. The incident is believed to have occurred while Afena-Gyan was away representing Ghana.
The news has sparked concern among supporters, with many expressing sympathy for the former AS Roma attacker following the unfortunate incident.
Authorities are expected to investigate the robbery as efforts continue to identify those responsible for the break-in and recover the stolen items.
Afena-Gyan recently joined the Black Stars camp as Ghana continued preparations for upcoming international competitions under new head coach Carlos Queiroz.
