    Black Stars goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati Zigi has crossed the 200-game mark in the Swiss Super League for FC St. Gallen.

    Lawrence Ati Zigi who joined St. Gallen from FC Sochaux in January 2020 made his 200th appearance in the Super League against FC Lugano on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

    The Ghanaian goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in the big game against FC Lugano as his club cruised to a slim 1-0 victory.

    In a social media post sighted by GhanaWeb Sports, FC St. Gallen celebrated their number one goalkeeper for his amazing contributions to the growth of the club.

    “200 Games Full of Leadership, Pride and Heart! Since 2020, Lawrence Ati Zigi has been in goal for #FCSG. In the important 1-0 win on Saturday against FC Lugano, our number #1 played his 200th Super League game and kept a clean sheet for the 39th time!”

    “Thank you for everything, Zigi – and here’s to many more beautiful moments in the green and white jersey!,” the post from St Gallen read.

    FC St. Gallen are now on top of the Swiss Super League with 15 points after beating Lugano 1-0 on matchday 6.
