Emerging rapper from Saltpond, Lokal Shock, has disclosed that favouritism and bias are killing the most talented artistes in the showbiz industry in the Central Region.

Lokal Shock said despite his ‘Ebefa Remix’ collabo with legendary superstar Shatta Wale, he’s still not getting enough support from his own people from the region.

“As for favouritism and bias in the Central Region showbiz industry, they’ve been doing it for a long time and they always have some particular artiste they support,” he told Amansan Krakye.

“God should bless those who support us because if I’ve been able to collabo with Shatta Wale and they won’t say anything about it, then I don’t know what they expect from me again.

“Trust me, it’s so painful, but you can’t blame people because it’s not by force to support, but we all pray that the region should grow, so what good news again are they expecting from us?

“I don’t even know what they want, but what at all are they looking for before they support us as a region, so if a talent is progressing, we should all be supportive because we are one,” he added on Property FM in Cape Coast.

“Look at the enormous talent in the Central Region, but because of favouritism and bias, a lot of the talents are being wasted, but it might seem that I’m overcomplaining.”
