Leicester City forward Fatawu Issahaku joined the Leicester Muslim community for Iftar on the evening of Monday, March 10, 2024.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the Ghanaian forward was warmly applauded as he entered the hall where the community was gathered for dinner. The former Sporting CP player took time to exchange pleasantries with some of the attendees before proceeding to break his fast.

The 21-year-old has been out of action since tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during Ghana’s game against Angola in November 2024.

Before his injury, Issahaku had provided two assists in 11 Premier League games during the 2024/25 season. Without him, Leicester City has won just three out of 19 games and is now embroiled in a relegation battle.

Despite this, Issahaku remains hopeful that his teammates can put up a fight to secure the club’s stay in the Premier League.
