Black Stars winger, Fatawu Issahaku has emerged as a top transfer target for Spanish giants, Atletico Madrid ahead of the summer transfer window.

Issahaku has attracted significant interest on the back of his scintillating performances for Leicester City in the current campaign, with Atletico Madrid keeping tabs on the pacey Ghanaian winger.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands the Spanish outfit are prepared to offer around €24m to facilitate the acquisition of the Black Stars attacker as the club seeks to augment their squad for the new campaign.

The 21-year-old winger has built a reputation for his pace, direct running and ability to take on defenders in one-on-one situations. His dynamic displays have made him one of the standout young players in the English Championship.

Issahaku’s outstanding display has not gone unnoticed, with Atletico Madrid said to be pushing for the signature of the Ghanaian attacker.

His potential switch to the Spanish powerhouse would represent a significant step up in his career, offering him the opportunity to compete at the highest level of European football.

The 21-year-old Ghana international has made 32 appearances for Leicester City this season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists across the period.
