After a long absence from the spotlight, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh surprised fans with a social media post, sparking an outpouring of support.

The Black Stars midfielder has been sidelined by injuries since February 2023, during matchday 19 of the 2022/23 season, when SC Freiburg suffered a 1-5 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

Kyereh was a key member of the Black Stars squad during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

However, he has since missed numerous matches and taken a break from social media as he prepares for a comeback.

Despite his absence, the 29-year-old recently shared highlights from his interview with Rolling Stone Africa, reigniting interest and receiving an outpouring of support from fans.

Some supporters expressed how much they’ve missed him, while others inquired about his recovery and sent heartfelt messages, wishing him a speedy return to action.
