Ghanaian highlife sensation Fameye has successfully recovered his official YouTube channel following a distressing hack that led to its deletion on May 26, 2025.

The incident occurred just as the artiste was preparing to release new projects, causing concern among fans and potentially disrupting plans to share new content and engage with his audience.

In a Facebook post on May 26, Fameye expressed his frustration, stating:

“My YouTube channel hacked & deleted. I’m sure I’m gonna get it fixed ASAP cos?”

The following day, on May 27, Fameye announced the restoration of his channel via a post on X, expressing gratitude to those who assisted in the recovery process.

“Big love to KwameBaahGH. My YouTube account is back & kicking. Hope you ready for the album? Go subscribe,” he posted.

The reinstatement of his channel comes as a relief, especially as Fameye gears up to release new music, with the artiste hinting at an upcoming album.

Known for hit songs such as “Nothing I Get” and “Mansa,” Fameye has amassed millions of views on the platform and built a strong online presence.

As one of the leading voices in Ghana’s highlife scene, his YouTube channel has played a crucial role in promoting his music and connecting with audiences globally.

Fameye recently clinched the Highlife Artiste of the Year award at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, further solidifying his status in the music industry.
