    Kwara United

Kwara United Football Club is a Nigerian football club based in Ilorin. They play in the top division in Nigerian football, the Nigeria Professional football League having gained promotion in 2017 from the Nigeria National League. Their home stadium is the Kwara State Stadium.

The club’s roots date back to the Kwara State Water Corporation Football Club in 1974. It was initially an in-house club for the staffers of the Water Corporation.

Due to the team’s results and talent depth, the scope was widened, and by 1979, they qualified to play in the National League’s second division alongside First Bank F.C. of Lagos.

In 1985, the club changed its name to Kwara Utility Bombers of Ilorin due to the change in the name of the parent corporation to Kwara Utility Board.

The team was relegated to Division Three at the end of that season. With the disengagement of the parent corporation from financing the team in 1990, the club adjusted its name to Kwara Bombers Football Club of Ilorin.

Kwara United returned to the top-flight in 2019 when they bought Delta Force’s slot in the NPFL after having previously been relegated. The club enjoyed considerable success between then and 2023, qualifying for their first CAF Confederation Cup in 2022.

In June 2025, Kwara United won their first-ever title after defeating Abakaliki FC in the Federation Cup.

Tunde Sanni is the current head coach, who previously served as the club’s chief coach.

    JS Kabylie

JS Kabylie, also known as JSK, is an Algerian professional football club based in Tizi Ouzou, Kabylia. The club is named after the cultural, natural, and historical region (Kabylia) that is home to the Kabyle Berber people, who speak Kabyle.

The center of the club’s logo represents JSK in the Tifinagh alphabet, and the Yaz at the bottom of the club’s logo is the most famous Amazigh (Berber) symbol, considered to be the symbol of the Berber language and culture in North Africa, representing the free person.

The club was founded in 1946, and its colors are yellow and green. The club currently plays in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1, the top tier of Algerian football.

JS Kabylie is the most successful Algerian club at the national level, having won the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 title a record 14 times, the Algerian Cup five times, the Algerian League Cup once, and the Algerian Super Cup once.

It is the only Algerian club to have never been relegated to the second division, with a record of 57 consecutive seasons at the highest level since the 1969–70 season.

The current head coach of JS Kabylie is Josef Zinnbauer.
