Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh has officially switched his nationality from Ghana to Tanzania to play for the Tanzanian national team.

The player is said to have undergone all the necessary procedures, making him eligible to play for the Tanzanian national team.

The former Samartex player is now eligible to play for the Tanzanian national team in various tournaments, including the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the 2026 World Cup.

While playing in Ghana, Keyekeh’s versatile performance earned him recognition, and he was tipped to be called up to the Black Stars, but he never gained that opportunity.

The player, who plays for Tanzanian club side Singida Black Stars Football Club, will be hoping to put up an impressive performance to feature for Tanzania’s Taifa Stars.

Keyekeh previously played for Unistar Academy, Karela United, and Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League before leaving for Tanzania.
