All of the political parties that ran in the 2024 elections have been cautioned by president-elect John Dramani Mahama to come together and support Ghana’s progress.

In order to address the nation’s problems, he believed that national unity and cooperation were essential.

Speaking to attendees at the 31st all-night service on December 31, 2024, at the Sanctuary of Wind and the Assemblies of God in Tamale, Mr. Mahama made the statements.

He declared that the campaign’s easiest phase was done and that the challenging and actual work needed to start.

In order to transform this nation into what we desire, everyone—including those who are not affiliated with any party—must support the National Democratic Congress, New Patriotic Party, New Force, Movement for Change, Convention People’s Party, People’s National Congress, and All People’s Congress.

“Now that the election and campaign have passed, the hard part has begun, and the real work has begun.” Now is the time to pray and fast even more in the hopes that God will raise our country and, as my small daughter put it, “make it the black star of Africa once again.” If we prayed and fasted for a successful election, now is the time to do so. We are all aware of the catastrophe facing our nation.
