Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina, has shared a lighthearted but honest reaction to the news of Mohamed Salah extending his contract.

The Egyptian’s career at Liverpool was reportedly set to end this season, with rumors of his departure escalating. However, Liverpool has secured his future with a new deal that will keep him at Anfield until 2027.

With the Egyptian forward set to continue terrorising defenses for years to come, Aina couldn’t help but sum up the mood of many Premier League defenders in a simple but telling reaction.

In a video shared by the Nigerian defender, Aina appeared visibly shocked as he watched reports confirming Salah’s contract extension.

Reacting in his typical humorous fashion, Aina simply responded, “Everyone is in trouble.”

Salah’s new weekly wage at Liverpool will be €400,000, making him one of the highest-paid players in the club’s history.

The 31-year-old currently tops the Premier League charts for both goals and assists, with an incredible 27 goals and 17 assists to his name.
