Asante Kotoko Interim Committee member, James Kwasi Appiah, has said that he is not perturbed by the club’s abysmal performance in the 2025 Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Top Four tournament.
Kotoko started their campaign with an embarrassing 2-1 defeat to Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Gold Stars.
In their second game, Kotoko lost to Heart of Lions by 1-0 before losing 2-0 to rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in their final round of games.

Reacting to the outcome, Kwasi Appiah stated that there is no cause for alarm, as the club used the games as pre-season preparation for the players ahead of the upcoming season.
“Even if we lose 10-0, I don’t care. The most important thing is that they are playing games. If I were Karim Zito, I would have used the youth team for the tournament.
