    Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, has stated that hugging President John Dramani Mahama at the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving was so fulfilling that even if she doesn’t make it to heaven, she feels content.

    The prayer event, held on July 1, 2025, drew thousands of Christians, religious leaders, and other members of the public from across Ghana. It was held under the theme, “Reset, Reflect, and Renew for National Prosperity.”

    The event aimed to bring people together to pray for the peace, growth, and future of the country.

    Among those who attended was Agradaa, who appeared deeply moved by both the message of the event and her interaction with the former President.

    Speaking to the media after the event, she said she was happy and honoured to be part of the national gathering.

    She praised Mahama for what she described as a “remarkable and godly initiative,” explaining that in times like these, it is important for the country to pause, reflect, and pray together.

    According to her, the former President had demonstrated true leadership by organising such an event that focused on seeking God’s guidance for the nation.

    “I’m really excited to be here, especially because I got to see the President in person. What he has done is beautiful. It shows he has a vision for the country and cares about where Ghana is heading. I even had the chance to hug him today, and honestly, even if I don’t make it to heaven, I feel fulfilled,” she said.
