The Tree Crop Development Authority (TCDA) has inaugurated a new Audit Committee, appointing Eric Osei-Afriyie as chairman.

The ceremony, held on Friday, October 31, 2025, marked a renewed commitment to strengthening internal controls, promoting transparency, and reinforcing sound governance within the Authority.

In his acceptance speech, Osei-Afriyie emphasised the committee’s dedication to ensuring that TCDA’s internal audit processes meet the highest standards of accountability.

“Our main aim is to ensure that the internal audit is functioning effectively. I’d like to emphasise that it’s not just about finances, it’s also about governance and risk.

“We will support management and the board to ensure that systems are in place, policies are implemented, and the governance structure operates efficiently. Chief Executive Officer, you can count on us. I believe we will deliver and make you proud. Thank you very much,” he concluded confidently.
