Head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Eric Chelle has reportedly submitted a 19-point list of demands to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) during contract renewal talks.

The Malian coach signed a two-year contract with the NFF in 2025, with an option for an additional year.

According to Nigerian sports journalist Shina Oludare, Chelle submitted the proposal to the NFF on January 22, 2026, after thorough checks.

It was reported that the coach proposed a monthly salary of $130,000, a furnished office with a projector for analysis, and a private SUV with a chauffeur and security.

Other demands include a house in a location with 24-hour electricity and strong internet connectivity, as well as bonus allowances for his Personal Assistant (PA).

The 19-point proposed terms by Eric Chelle include:

Private SUV with chauffeur and security.

House in a well-secured environment with 24-hour uninterrupted electricity.

Furnished office with projector for analysis.

    Internet provision.

Flight tickets for wife and two children (business class for Chelle and his wife, economy for the children).

    GPS provision.

Supply of proper equipment in line with the coach’s demands.

Right to choose opponents for international friendly matches.

    Camping programs.

Coach to initiate youth development programs.

Provision for the coach to travel, watch, monitor, and engage national team players abroad.

Provision for the coach to watch the local league to identify potential players for the senior national team, U23, U20, and U17.

No interference in team selection and player call-ups.

NFF to issue working contracts for his staff.

Salary to be paid on or before the 30th of every month.

Bonus and allowances as per federation structure.

Request to include his PA in the bonus and allowance structure.

Proposed monthly salary of $130,000 (covering technical staff and PA).

Monthly meetings with all national team coaches.

Meanwhile, neither the NFF nor Chelle has publicly addressed the report, as reviews are reportedly ongoing behind the scenes.
