Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Boateng continued his impressive form in the Turkish Super League, scoring his third goal of the season in Gaziantep’s 2-1 win over Hatayspor on Sunday.

The visitors struck first through veteran Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar, who exfoliated the scoring in the 38th minute with a clinical finish.

However, Boateng responded just before halftime, pouncing on a loose ball in the box to level the score for Gaziantep and send the home fans into celebration.

Gaziantep came out stronger in the second half and found the winner in the 59th minute, thanks to a composed strike from Halil Dervisoglu.

Both sides had several chances throughout the game, but Gaziantep held firm to secure all three points at home.

Boateng, who joined Gaziantep mid-season from Saudi Arabian side Al Orubah, has now netted three goals in 10 appearances for the club, underlining his growing influence in the squad as they push to finish the campaign strongly.
