Ghanaian businessman, real estate mogul, and politician Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, has alleged sabotage in the ongoing 2024 general elections.

He made this revelation after casting his vote at his designated polling station alongside his wife, today, Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Speaking briefly in an interview at the polling station, Cheddar expressed concerns about certain irregularities he claimed were affecting his campaign and party. “For now, I don’t want to speak too much, but I will have a lot to say after the results are declared,” he stated.

Cheddar’s comments come amid a heated electoral season in Ghana, where over 18 million registered voters are participating in one of the most anticipated general elections in recent history.

The elections, which include voting for the presidency and parliamentary seats, are being closely monitored both locally and internationally.

The race for the presidency has been particularly competitive, with key contenders being the incumbent vice president, Dr. Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and a new wave of candidates, including Cheddar, representing emerging political forces advocating for change.
