Sony Music Publishing (SMP) West Africa has announced Ghanaian rapper EL as its latest signee.

The company announced this in a post on Instagram, stating, “We’re thrilled to announce EL as the newest member of the SMP family!”

It then went on to list his achievements, including his 2016 Vodafone (now Telecel) Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’ title among others.

EL, real name Elom Adablah, in the video shared by SMP expressed excitement and gratitude to all who supported him.

“I’m the newest member of the Sony Music Publishing family. I’m so excited and I feel so blessed. Thank you all for holding me down. Looking forward to straight-up new music,” he said.
