DopeNation (L) and EL (R)

Ghanaian rapper, EL, has called for peace between himself and DopeNation after years of feud and tension.

The tension dates back to 2021 when DopeNation accused EL of not treating them well during his BAR concert.

DopeNation, in an interview with Headless YouTuber, alleged that they were harassed on stage by EL’s friends Joey B and Krept during their set at the 2021 edition of BAR concert.

However, EL in an interview with Kula, clarified that the BAR concert issue is in the past and not the main reason for their fallout.

He disclosed that their real misunderstanding started after they collaborated on a song.

According to him, he invited the twins to join him in creating promotional content for the track.

They agreed but never showed up and did not provide any explanation, something EL said made him feel disrespected.

The twins said after this, they blocked EL on social media.

Sometime later, they stated that EL urged them to unblock him so they can talk and possibly work together again.

Speaking on this, EL said he even proposed meeting them at Twist Nightclub to settle matters in person and later hit the studio for a new collaboration.

“B2 and Twist, if you understand where I’m coming from, you will understand why I felt disrespected, why I felt hurt. It’s not about the BAR concert, forget about that one, that was long time ago. The fresh issue on board is about the fact that I felt disrespected that day you guys didn’t show up. So, if you want us to speak, want us to get back into the groove of things, I’m open to.

“You can choose to unblock me or not, but I’ll prefer that you unblock me because I would like to speak to you guys. Unblock me. Let’s get together. Let’s get to the studio. Let’s let the fans know where we are. We can all get together and have a nice jamming session, man. I’m open to it,” EL stated.
