    Eight people lost their lives in a tragic accident on the Sunyani-Berekum road.

    According to reports from the Daily Graphic, the accident occurred at Amanfoso around 2:30 P.M.

    The vehicles involved were a Toyota Corolla taxi with registration number AS 4819-17 and a private vehicle belonging to the Great Wall School with registration GN 5753-12.

    The victims of the accident, five males and three females, tragically lost their lives.

    Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of the Great Wall private vehicle lost control of the steering wheel, causing a collision with the taxi.

    The PRO for the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) in the Bono Region confirmed in an interview with the Daily Graphic that the victims were rushed to the Sunyani Teaching Hospital and Berekum Holy Family Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries upon arrival.
