Second USA Boxing Gold-Level Coaching Certification Course Marked by Success
USA Boxing is proud to announce that over the weekend, eight coaches completed their Gold-level certifications while they were at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Each of the eight participating coaches passed with a 90-percent average or higher. The course was just the second Gold-level Coaching Certification course hosted by USA Boxing. The next USA Boxing Gold-level Coaching Certification course will be hosted on Oct. 26, with more information to come for interested coaches.
The USA Boxing Gold-level Coaching Certification course is an application-based process with a maximum of eight coaches/participants allowed per course. Each course will offer international competition tactics, strength and conditioning, nutrition, injury prevention and maintenance, and more. The cost of the clinic is $1,000/person, which includes housing and meals at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center. Flights to Colorado Springs are not included and will be the responsibility of the registered participants/coaches. To be eligible for the Gold-level Coaching Certification course, coaches must have completed the following prerequisites:
• USA Boxing Silver-level Certification
o Note: Coaches must be Silver level certified for a minimum of one year prior
to taking the Gold course
