Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo has publicly criticized musician Keche Joshua for stirring controversy after declaring Yaa Jackson a better singer than Gyakie.

The comment, made by Joshua in a circulating video with ZionFelix, where he praised Yaa Jackson’s latest release, ignited a wave of online backlash. While expressing admiration for the young singer’s performance, Joshua confidently claimed she surpassed Gyakie in vocal talent.

His remarks quickly spread across social media, sparking intense debate among fans and celebrities. One of the most vocal responses came from Efia Odo, who took issue not only with the comparison itself but with the divisive culture it promotes in Ghana’s entertainment industry.

“There’s enough room on the table for everyone to enjoy. No need to bring someone down to uplift another,” she wrote.

Efia Odo further explained that these types of comparisons contribute to the stagnation of the local music scene, pointing out how competition often overshadows collaboration.

“This is our main problem in the industry! Everyone wants to be the only one on top when the sky is big enough for all of us,” she added, urging for unity rather than division within the creative space.

Meanwhile, Joshua, in a comment after his assertion, claimed he was ‘playing’.

    See Efia Odo’s post below.
