CAF Media Officer, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has kicked against the nationality switch of English duo, Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
According to Sannie Daara, the pattern of European players with Ghanaian descents using the Black Stars as their second option after they have been rejected by their birth countries should stop.
The former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association said Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi should be used as scapegoats for others to know that the Black Stars is nobody’s second option.

“Some of these players use Ghana to bait other countries to call them up to their national teams,” Daara explained, highlighting a strategic game played by dual nationality players seeking to maximize their international careers.”
“The former official described how this dynamic unfolds on TV3 Sports Station, When Ghana are interested in a player, the European teams will be quick to say we want to use you for the World Cup and then you won’t hear anything again,” he said.
Ibrahim Sannie Daara wondered why Nketiah and Odoi suddenly want to play for the Black Stars after rejecting invitations from former coaches, James Kwasi Appiah and Chris Hughton.
