Broadcast journalist Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has strongly endorsed Abla Dzifa Gomashie following her nomination as Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.

This news has ignited enthusiasm across the creative industry, with many celebrating her vast experience and passion as invaluable assets to the ministry.

“Hon Dzifa Gomashie dier, overqualified oh. When she was the top actress in Ghana, many in this generation were not even born.

“She is a senior creative person who understands the industry better than most people. A Perfect Choice for the Ministry. Congrats Honourable!” Vim Lady declared, emphasizing her belief in Gomashie’s ability to lead.

Ablah Dzifa Gomashie is a Ghanaian veteran actress, producer, screenwriter, and politician. She served as the Deputy Minister of Tourism during the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration from 2013 to 2017, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.

Her contributions to Ghana’s cultural landscape extend beyond her political roles. As a queen mother in the Aflao Traditional Area, she has championed initiatives to preserve Ghanaian traditions and inspire community-driven development.

In addition to her artistic achievements, Dzifa Gomashie is currently the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the Ketu South Constituency.
