The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has unveiled the 2025 DV plates, incorporating significant security enhancements.

The new DV plates feature advanced security measures as part of the DVLA’s efforts to curb fraud and ensure authenticity.

Acting Chief Executive of the DVLA, Julius Neequaye Kotey, described the changes as a major upgrade in vehicle registration.

“We are excited to introduce the 2025 DV plate, which marks a significant improvement in vehicle registration and licensing in Ghana,” he said, as quoted by 3news.

“The new plate demonstrates the Authority’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance security and convenience for its customers,” he added.

The updated features include holograms, watermarks, and QR codes to ensure authenticity and prevent counterfeiting.

Vehicle owners, automobile dealers, and agents can now acquire the 2025 DV plates at all DVLA operational offices.
