Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum Supports Youth in Business with GHC10,000 at Pitching Ceremony

Accra, Ghana – Former Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has demonstrated his commitment to youth empowerment and entrepreneurship by donating GHC10,000 to support young entrepreneurs at the Youth in Business Pitching Ceremony.

The event, which formed part of the maiden Youth in Business Summit 2025, was held at the British Council in Accra and brought together aspiring business leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss strategies for boosting youth entrepreneurship in Ghana.

In his address, Dr. Adutwum emphasized the critical role of young people in shaping Ghana’s economic future, noting that entrepreneurship is a vital driver of innovation, job creation, and national development.

“The dreams of our young entrepreneurs must be fueled with the right support, mentorship, and resources. My contribution is just a token to encourage bold, innovative ideas that can transform Ghana’s economy,” Dr. Adutwum said.

Organizers of the event expressed gratitude for Dr. Adutwum’s gesture, describing it as a significant boost to their mission of equipping young people with the tools to succeed in business.

The Youth in Business Summit 2025 marks the beginning of an annual platform to nurture entrepreneurial talent and connect Ghanaian youth with investors, mentors, and opportunities.
