The Global Compliance Officer of QNET, Lawyer Naana Quartey has issued an advisory to the general public to be wary of individuals who claim to be from QNET, promising overseas jobs and visas.

In a QNET VCON Malaysia webinar organised by the company to enable journalists share experience about their media trip to the head office of QNET in Malaysia, Ms Quartey said the company was doing all it took to put an end to scammers and fraudsters misusing the name and products of QNET.

“QNET has been unfairly misrepresented and its reputation has been impugned by people who misled others for their own selfish gains. We are leaving no stone unturned in our transparent and committed fight against scams and misrepresentation,” Ms. Quartey reassured.

Since 2022, QNET has funded media junkets for eight seasoned Ghanaian journalists to visit the company’s head office in Malaysia and attend its global conference called the QNET VCON. Journalists from Daily Graphic, Business and Financial Times, Joy FM, Ghanaweb, Ghananewsonline, Channel One and others have been flown to Malaysia to experience the real QNET and be able to distinguish its business model from the modus operandi of fraudsters and errant independent distributors.

The latest Ghanaian journalist to visit QNET’s head office in Malaysia in June 2025, Leticia Osei, a journalist with Citinewsroom and Channel One TV, narrated: “Before travelling to the QNET VCON in Malaysia, I was a little uncertain about the company. I had mixed feelings about the information I had heard regarding QNET. However, when I arrived in Malaysia and visited the headquarters, I fully believed that QNET is an authentic company. I saw many QNET products, they explained how these high quality, world-class products work and I was given some of them to use. I met many senior QNET officials and asked all the tough questions and they answered all. I realised that if the company had anything to hide, it would not open itself up for such scrutiny. And all what I saw, heard and experience, tell the story of a business that is impacting the world but facing the challenges of some elements misrepresenting its intention and image.”

“It is important to note that QNET is a company that directly sells wellness and lifestyle products through an e-commerce platform. The only way to earn income with QNET is by selling products. After using these products, enjoying them, and recommending them to others, you can earn commissions when other people buy QNET products through your referral. We do not pay people to recruit people to join QNET. Do not pay anyone who promise your foreign visa or employment,” Naana Quartey warned.

In Ghana, QNET is partnering with and actively engaging all relevant stakeholders, including the government and security forces, to ensure they truly understand QNET and can distinguish it from those tarnishing its reputation.

QNET implemented anti-scam awareness campaigns: “QNET Against Scams” and “Say NO” targeting the public and media, using television, radio, internet, social media, and billboards to educate the general public.

QNET recently announced its collaboration with the Economic and Organised Crimes Office, EOCO, to implement a national media roadshow, travelling across the country using radio and television to educate the public about scams and telling the real QNET story.
