Media personality Bridget Otoo has cautioned appointees of the John Dramani Mahama administration to be respectful and receptive of party communicators and footsoldiers.

In a post shared on X on January 18, 2025, Bridget Otoo stated that such appointees should not disrespect anyone because of their current positions.

Bridget Otoo, who has been a staunch and vocal member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasised that if there is a scandal during their tenure of office, it’s the party faithful who will speak in their favour.

“When the scandal happens, when you falter, it is these same people who would speak in support of you! Don’t look down on anyone because you got an appointment! You are a leader, act as such!” she said.

President John Dramani Mahama, after assuming office on January 7, 2025, has appointed some members of the NDC into office to serve as ministers of state and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs).

The ministries include finance, trade, agribusiness, industry, fisheries, and aquaculture, tourism, culture, and creative Arts, among others.

GhanaWeb has learned that President John Dramani Mahama is expected to submit the final list of his ministerial nominations and appointments to the Speaker of Parliament on Monday, January 22, 2025.

When the scandal pae, when you falter, it is these same people who would speak in support of you!

Don’t look down on anyone because you got an appointment!

You are a leader, act as such!
