Antoine Semenyo made headlines at Old Trafford on Monday, December 15, 2025, after his first-half goal helped AFC Bournemouth secure a thrilling 4-4 draw against Manchester United.

The Ghanaian forward not only showcased his finishing ability but also his fighting spirit, having earlier been involved in a fiery clash with Diogo Dalot.

With Bournemouth trailing after Amad Diallo’s opener, Semenyo picked up the ball just to the right of the centre circle and immediately drove at the United defence.

What followed was a trademark run, strong, direct and fearless.

Semenyo surged past retreating defenders with a powerful burst, holding off challenges as he carried the ball into the final third.

As the United backline scrambled, the forward kept his nerve, slotting a low finish beyond the goalkeeper to bring Bournemouth back into the contest.

The Manchester United official page as usual, updated fans with a post of the equaliser.

“Goal. Antoine Semenyo levels for the visitors,” the post read.

The post drew instant attention from former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, who playfully replied and pleaded with his former team to sign Semenyo.

“Don’t let him leave after the game,” Ferdinand replied.

The strike not only dragged the Cherries level on the night but also reignited Semenyo’s season, marking his seventh Premier League goal and his tenth goal contribution of the campaign.
