Popular Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has shared a heartfelt piece of advice to young women regarding love, loyalty, and financial stability.

In a post on Twitter on June 15, 2025, to commemorate Father’s Day, the “Survivor” and “Too Late” hitmaker urged women to appreciate and support the efforts of hard-working men rather than abandoning them for those who are already wealthy.

“On this Father’s Day, I want to celebrate the good men out there who are also grinding and going out of their way to make it happen for their women. We appreciate you, and we pray you reap the fruit of your labour,” she added.
