M.anifest, a renowned Ghanaian rapper, is calling on public figures and key stakeholders to demand accountability from the government following the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) landslide victory in the 2024 elections.

According to him, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) loss was largely due to poor governance.

Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Thursday, December 12, M.anifest emphasized the importance of accountability, regardless of the change in administration.

He urged prominent individuals, including himself, to use their voices to amplify demands for accountability rather than taking a partisan stance.

He said, “We’ll show working. For the most part, I have to keep an open mind as a Ghanaian, but at the same time, it’s not a cut blanche to say that just because it’s a change in administration, everything is good.”

“Rather, I think people like myself and yourself [public figures], those of us who are privileged enough, have voices. I think what we can do is amplify the voices of accountability instead of being partisan.”
