Donald Trump Jr and Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson are set to wed over Memorial Day weekend as they abandon their plans for a lavish White House wedding.
The President’s eldest son, 48, and Anderson, 39, had delayed their nuptials over concerns that holding an extravagant wedding amid the Iran war would present an optics problem for his father.
But as the war has dragged on the couple has decided to instead hold a more intimate wedding for close family and friends in the Bahamas, a source told the Daily Mail.
Don Jr and Anderson started dating in late 2024, just as he broke off his engagement to former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, now the US Ambassador to Greece.
The Trump scion popped the question to Anderson, daughter of philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson, at Camp David on December 13 while they were celebrating her birthday.
