    A 40-year-old man from Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, has undergone a five-hour surgery after doctors discovered 29 steel spoons, 19 toothbrushes, and two pens inside his stomach.

    The man was rushed to Devnandani Hospital on September 17, complaining of severe stomach pain, vomiting, and weakness.

    The medical imaging stunned the surgical team led by Dr. Shyam Kumar, who described the case as one of the most unusual he has ever seen.

    Officials revealed the man had been admitted to a de-addiction center in Ghaziabad about a month prior.

    Frustrated and angry after being left at the facility by his family, he began swallowing everyday objects, including spoons and toothbrushes taken from the center.

    Many of the items had been broken into pieces before ingestion, increasing the risk of serious internal injury.

    Following the surgery, doctors suspect the man may suffer from pica disorder, a rare psychiatric condition characterized by the compulsive consumption of non-food items.

    He is currently recovering and will undergo a psychiatric evaluation to address underlying mental health issues.

    Below are some of the reactions;

    “Him for swallow him house, pots and fry pans, not only spoons and brushes”

    “Ah! Shey, you no go like swallow diffuser and duvet??? What about spicy Room and linen spray?”

    “God no just share this luck thing dogba, na ordinary fish bone send some people go heaven! Just look at this lucky dude.”

    “It is a mental disorder called pica, which comes from long-term untreated of OCD or schizophrenia.”
