In a hilarious viral moment, TikTok user @trendyjulz92 had users in stitches after sharing her weekend experience with her younger sister, who is a medical doctor.

According to Julz, she found herself completely lost when her sister began discussing a medical case with a colleague, casually using complex medical jargon for a research project.

Sitting quietly with a bowl of pasta, Julz listened as her sister confidently outlined lab investigations and possible diagnoses based on a child’s symptoms.

Her sister went on to discuss ruling out pyelonephritis and other differential diagnoses, suggesting empirical therapy, while also exploring the possibility of a non-bacterial cause for the condition.

She even reviewed conditions like tubulointerstitial nephritis, which can resemble pyelonephritis.

At this point, Julz admitted she was completely confused and overwhelmed, not understanding any of the terms.

She turned to TikTok, asking viewers to help her make sense of the medical jargon her sister had so effortlessly rattled off.
