The General Overseer of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, has responded to the NPP Bono Regional Chairman, Abronye DC, over what he describes as threats directed at him by the politician.

Recently, Prophet ElBernard prophesied that former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, would become the next flagbearer of the party.

The prophecy, which quickly became a major topic of national discussion, attracted sharp criticism from the Bono Regional Chairman and some party faithful, who described the prophecy as “fake,” among other accusations.

In a recent development, Prophet ElBernard, in a video circulating widely on social media on January 18, 2026, strongly criticised Abronye DC and other critics for what he said were attacks on his personality.

Speaking during a church service, the cleric stated emphatically that he is not a chicken to be threatened by any politician.

“Do you think we are chickens? Do you think Ghana belongs to you alone? We are interested in Ghana the same way you are interested in it. I have told people that if you are not interested in what I am doing in this church, you can go to Presby or Methodist,” he said.

He further questioned why some people react negatively whenever he delivers a prophecy.

“Ask yourself why it is that when I prophesy, some people don’t like it. I don’t care whether you like it or not,” he added.

Prophet ElBernard also stressed that he is not motivated by money, insisting that he would never prophesy about something he has not seen.

According to him, Abronye DC and another critic should not attempt to harm him, warning that he would retaliate if provoked.

“He should ask the 15 MPs who came to see me whether I asked them for money. He should ask them whether I contacted them after they left. Or do you think I am like any other person? If I haven’t seen it, I won’t come here to say it,” he stated.

King Tsuru II confirms ElBernard’s prophecy that he will become Ga Mantse

“I have so much confidence in what I have seen. You can’t do me anything, and even if you try, I will also harm you. Nobody can touch anybody in this country,” he added.

The prophet further cautioned Abronye DC and other NPP faithful to refrain from what he described as empty threats and negative name-calling, especially when prophecies do not favour them.

“Do you think we are liars? When the prophecy doesn’t favour them, they start tagging you as a fake man of God. I am saying this to dare those who think they can hurt me. You are joking. Stop that because I am well prepared,” he warned.
