Ghana’s most sought-after DJ, Nathaniel Kyeremeh, popularly known as DJ Bongo, has bagged a nomination in the 2024 Ghana DJ Awards.

The official DJ of Dryve of Ur Lyfe, Friday Night Mix, and Party Pressure on Y102.5FM in Kumasi secured the enviable nod for Best DJ in the Ashanti Region.

Although not new to the scheme, this is the first time the creative genius has been nominated in this prestigious regional category, cementing his place as one of the best in the region and the country at large.

With an ear for quality music, DJ Bongo has, over the years, endeared himself to the hearts of many, including radio listeners, concert-goers, and event organizers. A product of the University of Education, Winneba–Kumasi, with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology Education, DJ Bongo’s love for technology and music keeps him ahead of his peers.

The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, established to celebrate and appreciate the skills of DJs in Ghana, aims to foster the development of the local music industry. The awards scheme recognizes the electronic dance music scene and highlights the significant role DJs play in the entertainment industry.

The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards 2024 will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 8 PM at the Palms Convention Centre. The event will mark 12 years of celebrating exceptional DJ entertainment in Ghana.
