The government has appealed to church leaders and prophets to channel all national prophecies and spiritual revelations to the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations before making them public.

In a statement signed by the Presidential Envoy, Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, the government said the move is to ensure responsibility and proper handling of messages that concern high-profile political leaders, national security, governance, or public stability.

The statement thanked all church leaders and their congregations for their continued prayers, moral guidance, and efforts to promote peace and unity in the country.

It said their role in Ghana’s spiritual and civic life remains critical.

It asked the clergy to instruct prophets, men and women of God under their leadership to share such national messages directly with his office for urgent review and action.

The statement called for special prayers for the President, the government, state institutions, bereaved families, and the entire nation following a recent tragic accident that claimed lives, including those of government officials, military personnel, and NDC party executives.

It expressed hope that God would comfort the bereaved, guide national leaders, and continue to protect Ghana.

The statement assured the faith community of the government’s commitment to work with them for the peace and prosperity of the country.
