Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi retorted at fans who claimed she was next after congratulating Chika Ike on her pregnancy.

Taking to her Instagram story, the actress shared clips of people saying she is next to become pregnant after congratulating Chika Ike in the comment section.

The majority were quick to pray, wishing the actress to become pregnant soon and stating the number of children.

In response to their requests, Chizzy asked whether they were related to her or knew about her marriage, and if she was complaining about not having children.

She explains her decision to refrain from publicly congratulating her colleagues on their newborns to avoid statements like “You are next.”

Internet users wondered why the actress felt disturbed by her fans’ harmless thoughts.

    Below are some reactions,

@livia_sparkles They didn’t say anything bad though. They don’t need to be a family member to wish you well

@she_din_ma Chizzy rest, I didn’t see a problem in those comments

@mirabmercy Omo I see nothing wrong with telling her she is next in line …one day I will be a celebrity and I pray to be good to my followers 🙏😍
