PSG forward, Ousmane Dembélé is expected to be crowned as the FIFA Best Men’s Player of 2025 ahead of the awards ceremony on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 in Doha.

The Paris Saint-Germain winger enters the event as the standout candidate following a season defined by team success and consistent performances at the highest level.

The French international’s position as frontrunner follows his Ballon d’Or triumph earlier in 2025. Unlike the Ballon d’Or, which is voted by journalists, FIFA’s Best award combines votes from national team coaches, captains and selected media representatives.

In the 2024/2025 season, Dembélé played a leading role under PSG head coach Luis Enrique as the club secured a historic treble.

Dembélé made 55 appearances across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 14 assists.

Other players, including Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Brazil winger Raphinha, are also in contention for the award.
